I don't dislike him but this is the first game in a long time he has done what we all know he can do and now he needs to do it more often

Never ever rated him... his not my idea of a centre midfielder... but... it's not his fault and more often than not he'll give his all.. I like my centre midfielders to be footballers rather than people who run around a lot

He did well 2 games ago as well.
Hopefully a general upward trend.

Got about well, broke up play well, lasted the game well and I swear I even saw him make a couple of decent passes.

The Ian Bishop style of centre midfielder lost out to the big, athletic African midfielder about 20 years ago. Shame.

When he plays well, we almost always win. Trouble is that he doesn’t always play so well these days.

Who knew Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva were BIG BLACK AFRICANS? You need athletic players but quality midfielders who can keep and pass the ball are what we need

Re: Kouyate

Had a decent game today, without being brilliant
He covers a lot of ground, he's marginally above-average tackling
His shooting is truly appalling, his attacking heading erratic, defensive heading ok
Let's be fair, he rarely picks a killer pass
Overall, above average, hearts in the right place, but, if he was good he probably wouldn't be playing for us

Sven, hopefully Pep can start a trend where we can see skilful footballers in midfield again as opposed to athletes.

He was dogshit for months. When he was dogshit I said he was dogshit. Now he’s playing well I’m saying he’s playing well. That’s football. Not everyone has an agenda.

Had a strong game today. Good to see him back to some kind of form. For whatever reason, he was woeful for two months.

Yep had a poor season by his standards of a couple of years ago but arguably our best player in our last two home matches.

He had a good first half and stopped running so much 2nd half. Can we have more like the first half please?
Mind you none of the midfield moved much in the 2nd half! What was Moyes' motivational speech at half time?

Fucking joke of a player.
It's easy to tell a pathetically overrated player, when his name is even mentioned for MOTM.
FUCK. ME.

Here she comes the old ‘queen’ Eerie Wondered how long it would be before he piped up.
Get a grip mate and actually admit he played well. Mind you that’s hard for you when you’ve only got 10 mins of highlights to base your opinion on because I doubt very much you were at the game.
